I woke up one morning last week with a strange feeling in my mouth.. Somehow I had eaten a part of my own teeth. In the sense it had been scalped !! Fancy a tooth being skinned.. well that was what it was. And every time the wind hit it I felt an electric shock traversing through my knees. Now what my knees have got to do with my choppers beats me honey, but I found my way to that favourite Doctor in whose arms I lie cradled till he sets my pearlies into a presentable state.

Sometime ago he convinced me that I should go to bed with a contraption that looks like a set of false teeth, which I should fill with some jell which will make my existing teeth whiter. I tried it one day and felt a tad dizzy when I woke up so that was goodbye to white teeth. I even thought of the phillum isstar like sparklers.. all false of course.

For those whose natural teeth have received a rejection slip from the tooth fairy, plastic choppers are somewhat better than the alternative of being a toothless old geezer. The thrill of being able to flash beautiful, white, plastic pearlies when you smile is unknown to those who still have their own natural choppers.

This is the moment honey when I laud and praise my Doctor who hurts me not. I mean I have been to quite a few in my lifetime and the reason there being so many is obvious isn’t it.? Assuming you have already been in that very same torture chamber and experienced the bloody, bone-cracking process of having your personal ivory collection extracted, you know about the waiting period between the chain saw massacre and the time when you can cancel the call to the Red Cross blood bank and look forward to being a medical student’s next assignment.

I’m so glad I found my present Dentist many years ago and have remained faithful to him  ever since. If anyone needs his number call me !!

Today I witnessed in a small town in Valladolid the reunion of a teacher. My friend left his land to Germany some years ago. Although it has never shaken off the dust of the path of the heart, years, experience, training (an engineer) and passion (especially the passion), led him to engage in other lands. Some years ago we agreed presented by a mutual friend, and we've shared Skype, and a hug when the paths have joined. The return trip has given me time to think, half a lifetime studying Talent ... And the jinn as the most beautiful of the seeds germinate at times in unexpected places. In the north of Cáceres, I have heard many times in the car Gardel's tango, and I thought of the Post, I wanted to dedicate to all teachers who return to do the old road. People who feel dizzy, ...
