Builders alliance names Dunn director for Southern Arizona

Tom Dunn was has been named Southern Arizona director of the Arizona Builders' Alliance, which provides its members in the construction industry with management education, training programs and government relations.

Dunn was previously self-employed as the owner of a mortgage company, The Mortgage Planners. He has 20 years of experience in ownership of different wholesale and retail residential mortgage lending companies.

As the director for Southern Arizona, Dunn will focus on government relations and serving the local membership.

Farmers agent Spector moves to new office on northwest side

Farmers Insurance agent Phil Spector has moved to a new office at 190 W. Magee Road, Suite 122.

Spector, who previously shared an office with another agent, has been an agent with Farmers since 2005. He offers a full line of insurance products including auto, home, life and business.

Spector has lived in Tucson since 1978. A graduate of the University of Arizona, he is also involved in local civic activities including the Rotary Club of Catalina and other local business clubs.

Veteran executive Litvack picked as GM at Westin La Paloma

The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa has named Jonathan Litvack as general manager.

Litvack previously served as general manager at The Westin Pasadena for five years. Last year, he was named chief sales officer for North America by managing Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc.

Litvack's other management experience includes three years as complex general manager for the Sixth Avenue Inn and Days Inn Town Center in Seattle, as well as 10 years with Hilton hotels. He also worked in different positions for Disney, including overseeing the food and beverage operations for the Queen Mary.
