Thwarting thieves with polymers and rainbows

Kirstin Butler —Like pickpocketing , counterfeiting money may soon be a crime of the past. Researchers at the University of Sheffield have created a "colorless pigment" that creates rainbows and prevents replicability for use on money, passports, and other stuff you don't want copied.

Here's how the magical fraud-fighting rainbows are created: pigment-free polymer materials are combined in highly ordered layers to make alloys called block copolymers. These alloyed copolymers display intense color because of their structure. This structure draws on the expanding field of biomimcry: Just as iridescent beetle shells and butterfly wings exhibit multiple colors from different angles, these lab-synthesized layers can mimic the entire range of the rainbow by mixing copolymers in various proportions.

Using high-powered x-rays, scientists probed their pearlescent constructs to determine how the ordered layers were structured, and refine the rainbow colors they were able to produce. Of the breakthrough, Dr.

I bet you’ve thought about it once or twice. What about your pot of gold? What will see at the end of your rainbow? With your pot be empty like most people’s are, or will it be full? What will happen by the time your 30, or 49, or even 65? Will the pot be half full and your just going to get a halve of a retirement or will it be just plain empty? Now that I think about it if or when that happened to you, you might want to keep at it because you just love what you’ve been doing in life. In fact that is what most billionaires do. They keep working, not in a sense that we are use to, but because they have so much fun working and doing things to make themselves rich, that they don’t want to stop.

Doesn’t it sound like the best job or career in the world, when you are the boss of what you do and of other people, and you can go to work whenever you want and you can have fun making bottomless and endless amounts of ever growing money? I beat you it does and that is the reality of lots of billionaires. The thing that I would also like to point out among the crowed of things they have is that they have a choice to go to work or not. They have a choice to go to work or not and they make that choice everyday they wake up. They have a choice and they don’t have to do anything.

That is why I want to say that the best job in the world is the job of being rich, because of the fact that it has so many upsides. Why? Well you can go any where, and I mean anywhere even on your own jet. Do almost anything you think of right on the spot. Say you wake up and you decide you want to go to New York, You can or say you want to go to Hawaii and get a vacation home there, you can. You also have freedom. People love you if you have a strong brand and if your famous. People are envious and you can throw the biggest parties you want and you don’t have to clean up afterwards. Almost anything is possible once you come to the end of the road and just want to enjoy what you’ve earned.
