How do I get into yoga on my own? | Rubber Yoga Mat
I’m interested in trying yoga to become more flexible and I’ve heard it has a lot of health benefits. The thing is, I don’t want to go to a yoga class (and I’m pretty sure my small town doesn’t even have them). What is the best way to get into it on my own with no prior knowledge about yoga? Any tips or advice? Anything I should buy first to aid in learning about yoga?

There’s a show with host Steve Ross on the Oxygen channel. It’s on at 3am my time so I tivo it. I really enjoy his show… except that I have to stop my pose and forward through the commercials.
Other than that you can rent or buy DVD’s and do it at home. You don’t need to attend yoga classes; although I feel the yoga classes push me harder but yoga at home works just fine. Go for it, it’s sooo good for you, mentally as well as physically.
